The Party Secretariat in Kampala has already dispatched off its advance teams to different Sub Regions to lay ground for the arrival of the senior party officials.

Museveni takes off as it threatened to rain amidst consultations on whether he should be the party candidate in the just concluded 2016 presidential polls.

In an interview with the communications manager at the NRM Party Secretariat, Rogers Mulindwa revealed that “the Party Secretariat in Kampala has already dispatched off its advance teams to different Sub Regions to lay ground for the arrival of the senior party officials.”

The move is a clear indicator that president Museveni who doubles as the party’s national chairman is ready for a showdown in a do or die battle to have the 75 years Age Limit for a president removed from the constitution to open a deadly and undemocratic edge of life presidents in Uganda starting with him.

However, the international community remains silent as well as regional bodies like IGAD, and the African Union as the political environment in Uganda gradually slides to the edge of violence that is likely to build into an armed struggle or civil war.

  1. Subject: Uganda’s ruling party starts national age limit consultations, BY Tom Mugisha and Timothy Sibasi, Nov 5, 2017

Commentary, 5 Nov 2017 The National Party Chairperson of Uganda, General and President, His Excellency, The Honourable Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will have Quote “a showdown in a do or die battle to have the 75 years Age Limit for a president removed from the constitution to open a deadly and undemocratic edge of life presidents in Uganda starting with him.” Unquote. NOTHING else need to be said. The ‘EMPEROR’ has spoken.

The action may bring down Uganda to the pits of Hell, Fire and Total Destruction. To a ruthless Dictator, it doesn’t matter. Human History testifies to that FACT with respect to the final outcome of Dictatorship.

The faint (just a flickering faint) possibility of avoiding such catastrophe is for the Highly Educated Modern Intellectuals of Uganda with their possession of ultimate Doctor of Philosophy Degrees [including those Honourable Staff of Makerere University] , as well as distinguished Ugandans, in all walks of Life, to get together and save Uganda from going down to the pit of Hell. In African REALITY, however, it will NOT happen. And so, we come to the concluding paragraph of the well written and focused Article, by Tom Mugisha and Timothy Sibasi: Quote:”… the international community remains silent as well as regional bodies like IGAD, and the African Union as the political environment in Uganda gradually slides to the edge of violence that is likely to build into an armed struggle or civil war.” Unquote. THE END
