Uganda: Kira Road police station fire: Owoyesigire speaks out

A fire razed part of Kira Road Police station barracks on Wednesday night Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire has confirmed.

According to Mr Owoyesigire, the fire started at 8am but was extinguished before it claimed any life.

The cause of the fire has, however, not yet been established.

“Some property was destroyed. We are waiting for reports from experts to establish the cause of the fire,” Owoyesigire said.
