Jomo Kenyatta International Airport has temporarily been closed after a bomb scare on a Kenya Airways flight to Johannesburg, South Africa.
The airline on Wednesday said the passenger who raised the alarm has been taken into police custody.
All other passengers and crew also disembarked for a rescreening.
Mr Dennis Kashero, the KQ head of communications and public affairs, said the airline was notified of the bomb threat on the flight at 1300 GMT.
