DR Ruto, Raila console Kenneth Matiba family

Deputy President William Ruto and opposition leader Raila Odinga visited the home of the late Kenneth Matiba on Tuesday to extend their condolences.

They led top government officials including Cabinet Secretaries Amina Mohamed, Sicily Kariuki, Eugene Wamalwa, Charles Keter, Rachael Omamo and Aden Mohammed to the ex-minister’s home in Riara Ridge, Limuru.

CSs Keriako Tobiko, James Macharia, Mwangi Kiunjuri, Margaret Kobia and Joe Mucheru were also present.

Mr Ruto and Mr Odinga have described Mr Matiba as a selfless leader who sacrificed a lot for the country.

Mr Odinga was accompanied by his wife Ida.
