Three suspected robbers killed in two Nairobi incidents

Three suspected robbers were killed in two separate incidents in Nairobi on Wednesday.

Two were killed at the Kariobangi South railway line after they tried to snatch a woman’s handbag.

Police, who responded to a call, said they had attacked and stolen from other pedestrians. They recovered two guns.

A third suspect was shot dead in Kayole area while fleeing from the scene of a robbery.

On September 8, a suspected robber was shot dead in a botched robbery incident in Eastleigh area, Nairobi.

The man was in the company of three others and had allegedly tried to rob pedestrians when police were alerted.

Police rushed to the scene and managed to kill one while two others escaped on foot. Police said they recovered a pistol from the slain man loaded with four bullets.
