Tens of thousands march through Sudanese capital Khartoum

KHARTOUM, Tens of thousands of people were marching through the centre of the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Thursday morning amid speculation of a coup attempt against President Omar al-Bashir following months of protests, a Reuters witness said.

Earlier, thousands of people flocked to a sit-in outside the Defence Ministry compound where anti-Bashir protesters have been camped since Saturday.
